We make the same provision, although at a more basic level in Adigrat, another poor town in the Tigray region. It is located very close to the Eritrean border and was until now dominated by the negative consequences of the War of Independence. Currently 60 children attend the project centre daily and about 70 mothers received training and an interest-free loan so they can start a small buisness which provides them with their own income. As the work grows in Adigrat, we got a piece of land from the government where we can build our own project centre.
