60 villages were under water after storms and two dam bursts. An estimated 20,000 people have been made homeless, and some 430,000 inhabitants have been affected by the storms.
Operation Rescue is about to assemble a team to travel to the affected region to provide emergency relief. Firstly, we want to deliver food, hygiene items, and possibly medicines. Raquel, the manager of Operation Rescue’s center in São Paulo, is already in Bahia to find out more about the most urgent needs.
