J. is a small boy who has been coming to our centre since August 2018. His father left his mother and, when his mother found a new partner and married him, she abandoned the little boy and moved to another location. Since then J. has lived with his grandmother on the street.
J. is a good and obedient child. In his regular visits to the project centre we’ve seen that he knows his numbers and the English alphabet. He’s now learning to write them. His grandmother would like him to be admitted to a good school so that he can have a better future. She works as a rag collector and does what she can to care for J., to support him and make him happy. We are now trying to enrol him in a proper school and are waiting for a response re his admission.
